Taiwan

Taiwan in pictures. Well not quite actually. My digital camera pirtures are too large to be uploaded and the awesome video of the changing of the guards takes too much time to upload. Anyway, enjoy

busy busy

First of all, sorry for the no updates. A real packed holiday. Taiwan was first, upon reaching home, I left for the 7th Esplosion camp at Majodi centre. Then have been in and around school and town for training stuff. Plans for singapore with Alvin. FOB concert talks also underway. (anyone interested, please let us know) And yeah, tuitions have started. No life some would say but WTH. SPM.

Anyway, i'll upload the photos and videos of the Taiwan trip once I find the camera. LOL

Till then.

from DeBao

In the corner of a hotel in Tai Chiung, Taiwan sat me. Man everything is in chinese but yes somehow, to blog, I have prevailed. LOL

Man, the size of the room is enormous. It's just two single beds btw. But the space is man, enormous.

Anyway, till the end of my trip, or till the nest free 24 hour internet service.

Land of the chinese popstars

Flying to Taiwan this very Sunday. So some have said I would be "lost" in Taiwan considering my taste rather lies in British bands? And also the demoralising fact that, OKAY, I do admit I'm a banana. LOL

6 days and 5 nights. Tai Chung, Taipei, Mt. Alishan and so on. Haven't really studied the itinerary. Lots of good food though I've heard.

Oh, my doctor said that Teresa Teng's grave site would be a nice place to go to. It seems it's a piano key type design, and when they keys are stepped, it sounds. WHOH

Good food, good weather ( just 2 degrees or so lower than my air con ), and good scenery, what could dampen my moods? ( well the previous post could be a hint )

Anyway, it's 30th flying off and 5th flying back.

All for believing

Dilemmas and more dilemmas.

I saw this coming. WTH. From the minute they called to come. Convincing as they were, I was not convinced. Never did it cross my mind that I would want to do it all over again. Not for myself at least. I have a reason to do it now though.

For them.

Should I? Or shouldn't I?

I have time to ponder. Ponder I shall.

Akhirnya tamat, tersesat di larkin pula

As the exams finally closed off with accounts today, euphoric cheers rang all over town (cs). Well, I was there. I am a normal human doing the norm of people my age. LOL. Going to cs. Went for lunch with the twins.

KONG + KONG = KONG2?

McDonalds was where we had lunch. Followed them to popular after. Man so out of place at the chinese section. Could make out some words though.

Er wo bu hui du hua yi?

Headed off to Larkin soon after. Trainings. Took a bus. This would be where the fun started. I sorta got lost. Okay so maybe I was er kinda experimenting different routes to take? Not one of my shiny moments.

Took a wrong turn after getting down from the bus. Thought I could be able to get back to the road heading to the stadium, instead, I went further from it. I was at a junction nearer to the futsal court than the stadium. (they are around 3 km apart btw)

Asked directions from a very very bemused old lady. What?, a young boy can't get lost and not be embarrassed to ask? XD

Reached in one pirce finally. Went for the psychology talk session. On how to prep for competitions. The session was okay on a whole apart from the 'rojak" language.

And yeah, the tittle for this post is in malay as I have a newfound interest in malay songs. SHEILA ON 7!

the not so swell season

I'll put it plainly, simply, calling a spade a spade, the end to my form 4 term is not all that. Luckily for the one week off (Deepavali), but the days just go by like they weren't there to start with.

Studying is the name of the game. I'm not a fan of this game though. But well, since everyone is doing it, and the saying is "if you can't beat them, join them" so mind as well put every thing aside and just deal with it. It's just another 3 weeks anyway.

This post's aim is of course to serve as a motivation. If you are reading this post,

HURRY AND GET OFFLINE, THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER, STUDY. XD

till the next of such posts,
gotta hit the books.

"tongue tied but still, I knew what I wanted to say, but you weren't there to hear it", "brick walls are closing in, let's make a run for it, cause if you'll jump, i'll jump too. never looking back"

GEARING UP

Finals for all fourth formers, ( in the JB district ) looms ever closer. And so, studying must be top of the agenda for most. okay note "most".

Anyway, Captain Straw Hat won't be able to colour his pages often during this tense period. He would be gearing up. On to GEAR 3 and will be busy replenishing his energy from the excursions of the over usage of GEAR 3. lol ( for those who don't know GEAR 3, watch or read the episode where Luffy beats CP9 leader )

well, this is the actual aim of this post,

" ALL THE BEST TO ALL "
" MAY GOD BLESS YOU "

to quote from angels and airwaves - all systems go,
" when will this be over?, this cold and bitter season. "
-definitely the mood of this time

clearly not my post. go figure

A name..
Distant but clear,
They said she came,
To think I still hold it dear,
The weather suppress,
contained me with depress
Maybe in my heart,
you will never depart.

But, nothing about you,
will I ever care for again,
The confidence from you,
I will never regain
No matter what you wear,
I will never be there,
the passion when we kissed
is one that we all missed

You have forgotten me,
you made me apathy
never again will you hug me
that should make you happy,
your path shall I never tread,
for you i shall never 'but'
I say I admit I regret,
but now you are but

a stramper,
and no more..

How do you feel if the person you like is close to another person which is not YOU?

I suppose it's time to let go.

Even if I will not do it.

Ambitions, jobs, ... dreams!

"Oh I dream to be a footballer", says Rooney

"Oh no no, I wanna be a doctor", says Dr M

"Nah, I'd be a part time maid", says a certain looi

So, this would be the very very imminent question that will come to mind. in all honesty, we are most of the time clueless. Just dreaming. Well, the general public doesn't always get a job in their line of degree or major. Take my cousin for example. He just graduated in marine biology and research. But he's in the admin department doing office work for the British Embassy. Funny how things work out. And yeah he's pay is around 2xxx.00

Or if you are REALLY GOT NO IDEA , you could get into multiple jobs. For instance, start off by travelling the world when you got no money. Then, take up a medical course when you get bored of backpacking through Russia. Be a doctor. Get fired and then end up in some school off Sungai Chat, E.C as a Bio teacher.

Anyway, this is a list of ambitions of a modern day you and me

1 the very very standard ambition of all little kids
- DOCTOR

2 the calling you feel is yours after seeing Rooney leave Fabregas on his bottom and scoring - FOOTBALLER

3 for wanting to save your cat in the tree - FIREFIGHTER

4 realising your true potential after watching LCLKLS on you tube - SINGER

5 being forced to, or maybe got inspired by a certain story in ANAK LAUT, - TEACHER

6 for the depressed - SHRINK

7 for the love of food - COOK ( Alex should take this one up )

8 the never ending, never tired worker. the one we all feel pain of losing. some just can't live without this person. It truly is a marvel of a job. - MAID( ivan )

9 can't stand Lin Dan's cockiness? beat him - BADMINTON PLAYER

10 Usain Bolt who? move over - SPRINTER

11 grew up loving MSAB ( SATAN ) productions? with the illegal copying of the intros? - MOVIE DIRECTOR

12 wanna shine brighter than the moon? - BATU BINTANG

13 wanna be heard everyday? - RADIO DJ

14 wanna be screamed at constantly? - REFEREES ( football ones )

15 wanna be rich? - marry one of the Abu Dhabi brothers. Okay this is a dream.

There you have it. Some of the many ambitions that run through the average teen mind. ( so maybe mostly created la but well, all in the name of a good laugh )

signing off with a quote from Shan Wee of 987fm,
" the best way to remember your girlfriend's birthday is by forgetting it once"

thursdays and fridays

I visit omega on these two days. Meet many people at that. Some intentionally, some not. For tuition of course. It is a tuition centre. Thursdays for physics and Fridays for add maths. I was the only EC dude in physics till Chun Kit joined not long ago. It used to be just me and bryan on fridays then Alvin joined and add maths has never been a dull moment.

Todays add maths was exceptionally great. We had to "evacuate" the class as some sort of short circuit occurred to the main switch. Some kind of awful burning odour filled the room as we hurried "orderly" out of the class. Voices could be heard, among them were Mr Yong telling us to shift the whiteboard as well. Earlier when the class was in a state of so called panic ( more of excitement actually ), he told us to continue doing our exercises and Alfred said, " teacher, we going to die dy still need to do work ah?"

Class resumed in another class after that. Surprisingly, today's work was done in record time. Some 15 minutes before class was over. That was pleasing. haha

this part would be just random

Im waiting at the corner of the street, not moving. There's someone I'm waiting for. Sometimes, my first scars won't ever fade. Trying to rain on me when I'm soaked. Sometimes, we don't learn from our mistakes, we have no choice but to walk away.

You touched these tired eyes of mine. I listened close for I'm not smart. You wrapped your thoughts in works of art. I may not have the softest touch. I may not say the words as such. I never feel like quite enough.

Yet, you healed these scars.

Dimitar Berbatov

The saga ends at last. All that talk of signing and not signing finally concluded at the very last minute of the transfer season. So there you have it, Berbatov in the jersey. 9 would definitely be on the back. The fee for our new hitman is in the area of around 30.75million pounds with Fraizer Campbell heading in the opposite direction for a season long loan.

Berbatov hails from Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Sir Alex likes players with plenty of charisma in the way they play, and the Bulgarian’s languid style is instantly recognisable on the field. It’s also an approach that has drawn comparisons with former United talisman Eric Cantona. Like the captivating Frenchman, Berbatov loves to entertain with the ball at his feet. United fans are in for a real treat with the Bulgarian in a United shirt in attack alongside Wayne Rooney, Carlos
Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo et al.Berbatov started out at Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia. He joined The Armymen aged 17, following in the footsteps of his father, Ivan, who also played for the club. After making his debut aged 18 in the 1998/99 campaign, he went on to score 14 goals in 27 league matches the following season. His talent quickly attracted attention from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, who made their move for the Bulgarian front man in January 2001 after an impressive start to the season for CSKA. Berbatov – national team captain and Bulgarian Player of the Year in 2002, 2004, 2005 and
2007 – made a slow start to his time in Germany, but he regularly shone in the Champions League, scoring a spectacular solo goal against Lyon and also finding the net against Liverpool (already he’s in favour). The only blot on his copybook is that he was part of the Leverkusen team that knocked United out of the Champions League semi finals in April 2002. He came on as a substitute in the final as the Germans lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in Glasgow.Berbatov was eventually lured to the Premier League when Tottenham signed him in July 2006 for a reported £10.9million fee. He was an instant hit at
White Hart Lane, scoring his first competitive goal two minutes into his home Premier League debut against Sheffield United. He went on to score 23 goals in his opening season, which he matched again in 2007/08, a campaign which saw him voted Fans' Player of the Year.

All in all, Berbatov is going to be a sensation and Liverpool had better watch out for our new devil.

Berbatov against Reading, scoring 4 goals.

telling a tale, each one

Purely random

home, welcoming me after a long day
look what we have here, a casualty. "Hmm", says Irwin, " should we just dump him here?"
in the background," YOU DARE??!!!", replies the jittery Ivan.

mirror mirror on the chair ( of e.c), who did this?

now take a step left or right? ( I guess I'll just keep walking straight then)

100 plus or coke? well, I'll take the latter. It does clean toilet bowls pretty well.

yawn, Sunday morning. Omega. Time, 7.40. Class starts in 50 minutes. What the hell am I doing there so early? No one in the class except me.

Batu Feringgi. This certainly colours the dull place.

maybe the perishers got their album cover from this? haha at tebrau when I got this shot.

ohhhh, time to pay up. Now is the birthday boy giving us a treat?

okay, now I surely will NOT touch it. Becoming like Ivan isn't all that good you know.

Birthdays, over rated? Nah, I'm still enjoying its benefits.

tea time. still got tea from my last trip to cameron.

The Twin Towers. Spectacular at night.

The only star that night. A litle orange though don't you think?

RAINBOW ( no words needed)

The beach, the ocean, the sun

the sky, not so sunny, just nice

sean emo-ing ( in the larkin police station )
Jon emo-ing ( same place )

Just clearing out my memory card, ran through all the pictures. Kinda random this post so I'll continue the randomness with a joke.

(clears throat , well in a time like this I DO need to clear my throat. no voice )

Two young graduates look for a job. They end up in some firm taking a written exam. After two hours of the exam and several days later, they both went back to the firm. The clerk guided them to a room. The invigilator of the exam told them the news.

Invigilator : You both managed to get the same number of questions correct for the exam, but we've decided to go with Sam.

Dennis : But you said that we both got the same number of questions correct. So why is it that he gets the job?

Invigilator : Well, for question 86, Sam answered " I don't know". You answered, " me neither"
