As I was saying, it was a special day. A birthday. A super fun day. But alas, "someone" did not want us to post the memory on any blogs, or anywhere for that matter.

BUT

Being the one who fails to listen, I will blog about it. Sorry Kay, Ash long its been quite some time since the last post. And so, we went to cs on the 19th. Nelson treated us to a movie. Man it was awesome! The forbidden kingdom rocks.

In the dark, I found light

Echoes were ringing. Silence not so pure. Voices talking to you. Succumbing to all the pressure.
Feeling lost in a sea of red mark ( 4D people you know what I mean). The rest of the sea that I tried to conquer were more encouraging.

As the rough turbulent seas and its waves pounded me, I moved on. To a land more dry. Robotics and NIE.

problem

1 I know no shit on programming
2 Its been ages since I played "LEGO" (the robots are made by "LEGO")
3 there's only one damn robot to play with
4 I'm having difficulty extracting all the creative ideas from deep down inside my brain
5 My english only managed to get a 82. DAMN how sucky is that?


how to overcome?

1 I'll just get Alex to do all the programming (maybe learn a thing or two here and there)
2 "LEGO" playing comes naturally to all guys
3 Well we are poor people so just have to face that fact
4 maybe more rubiks will do the trick. It works the left brain more right. Thats the creative side right?

4 follow Pira and Alex out to recess during the prefects recess time

5 sit at Ash's place only to be chased away by Pn. Aishah

6 talk about the future. "imagine all the futsal we'll get to play after spm" GOSH

7 come out of class one hour earlier to go have lunch and talk more cock

8 leave a notes on teachers tables. stuff like "er you left your markers in the class :D"

9 skip school like today

10 listen to HALIM go on and on about his experiences.

11 fall asleep in history (zawawi). bad move though

12 address your teacher "honey" like muhaimin did. its a real crowd pleaser.


Conclusion :
These steps are a sure work, full proof to having fun in class only if you're in 4 DINAMIK of EC. To avoid frustrations, repeat steps 1 - 12 constantly.

E Chen, what's wrong with that great name? It rocks. No two ways about it.

I officially have two names on my two school uniforms. My normal Jonathan on one and yea you guessed it E Chen on the other. The reason for this? Just wanted to come out of my banana sleeve and embrace the "Chinese" side of me. lol. no chance. just thought I'd be kinda cool putting that name. It is indeed one of a kind as normally it would be a double e as in ee or yee or even yi but a single E.

okay that takes care of the name part. On to pantun. Come on people, its not a pantun. Isn't it so obvious that it's the lyrics of a song? okay PETERPAN is a band from Indonesia. Their hits include the super popular mungkin nanti and also tak bisakah. Band members are fans of oasis. Their songs are not bad. Listening to them at the moment. Their lyrics, simple and full of meaning haha to me anyway.

alas, all the wrong that has been said, happened, and will take place. Firstly I would like to say that we (st johns) got second place in the "kawad formasi" thingy. For all you newbies to this, its where marchers perform different routines sorta forming patterns "without timing". Second was not a bad result. And it was held in perling. PERLING, HOME.

okay on to the untrue rumours that have been spreading. I am single la people. Unattached. Not available though. haha. exams just passed. yea this is no type error, exams just passed. I'd be happy if I come back with a few A's as initially I need not take the damn test.

Here's a gist of the story.

Teacher asks st johns to train for a competition. School allows training during school hours. Boys skip class. Regardless of the upcoming test. Teacher tells that those taking part need not take exams. Boys are ecstatic. Me included. weekends pass. no studying happened. Monday came, trained as usual. Tuesday then. day the test starts, teacher comes with a shocking, jaw dropping, announcement. Cue cursings, multi languages at that. "ALL OF YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO CLASS NOW AND SIT FOR THE TESTS. THIS IS THE SCHOOLS ORDER".

GREAT

with absolutely no studying, the boys went on to their respective classes hands empty, minds even more blank. not even a pencil or a pen to write with. pathetic it may seem, that was how unprepared the boys were. but still they put on a brave front. they stood firm in the face of adversity. Let's let the results do the talking. They should tell a oh so wonderful tale. Wednesday was the day of the competition so the boys didn't take any papers. Thursday came. Only the brave remained. The elite. The rest took a step back. Restes at home, not wanting to face the papers. The remaining few took the remaining papers in a one of a kind exam marathon.

6 papers, 1 day, 2 classes, 8 boys, 0 teachers. Imagine the silence during the tests. Gosh the absolute silence, nothing but the sound of nature.
