there comes a time
The days that pass don't seem to be helping any more less. And there comes a time when one (not me) just lays back imagining the stuff he has done for the past few days.
Day one
Parents saying "you better not let your outings affect your studies yeah"
Day two
Teacher coming in to give a talk about " SPM being the crossroad of your life"
Day three
That guilt-wrench feeling you have when you don't spend enough time studying as
much as you would have liked.
Day four
You come to school seeing half the class or even more not present. you feel shit
for coming.
Day five
You run off to PJ, after telling yourself you didn't want to play but use that
time to do some extra studying.
Day six
You don't finish your homeworks, saying you were studying. And then you see the
number one student passing up everything and still finish way ahead of you in the
rankings.
Day seven
You get home late from school. You fall asleep. Waking up at 8pm, you feel horrible. You try studying but you get sleepier. You "tersleep" as you would say and feel like shit the following morning.
Day eight
You get to BIO class not knowing what the teacher is talking about as you've been studying other subjects during BIO lessons.
Day nine
You get to tuition class. You meet your friends from other schools. You end up talking and having fun. Forgetting the purpose of tuition.
Day ten
You turn on that damn tempting box (CPU). And there goes a few hours.
Well, with all this being said, I guess it's time to buck up for mid year.
Who's panicking?
Are you?
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL FIFTH FORMERS TAKING THE SETARA PAPERS.
MAY WE ALL LIVE TO ENJOY THE MID-TERM BREAK.

Dimitar Berbatov

The saga ends at last. All that talk of signing and not signing finally concluded at the very last minute of the transfer season. So there you have it, Berbatov in the jersey. 9 would definitely be on the back. The fee for our new hitman is in the area of around 30.75million pounds with Fraizer Campbell heading in the opposite direction for a season long loan.Berbatov hails from Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. Sir Alex likes players with plenty of charisma in the way they play, and the Bulgarian’s languid style is instantly recognisable on the field. It’s also an approach that has drawn comparisons with former United talisman Eric Cantona. Like the captivating Frenchman, Berbatov loves to entertain with the ball at his feet. United fans are in for a real treat with the Bulgarian in a United shirt in attack alongside Wayne Rooney, Carlos
Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo et al.Berbatov started out at Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia. He joined The Armymen aged 17, following in the footsteps of his father, Ivan, who also played for the club. After making his debut aged 18 in the 1998/99 campaign, he went on to score 14 goals in 27 league matches the following season. His talent quickly attracted attention from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, who made their move for the Bulgarian front man in January 2001 after an impressive start to the season for CSKA. Berbatov – national team captain and Bulgarian Player of the Year in 2002, 2004, 2005 and
2007 – made a slow start to his time in Germany, but he regularly shone in the Champions League, scoring a spectacular solo goal against Lyon and also finding the net against Liverpool (already he’s in favour). The only blot on his copybook is that he was part of the Leverkusen team that knocked United out of the Champions League semi finals in April 2002. He came on as a substitute in the final as the Germans lost 2-1 to Real Madrid in Glasgow.Berbatov was eventually lured to the Premier League when Tottenham signed him in July 2006 for a reported £10.9million fee. He was an instant hit at
White Hart Lane, scoring his first competitive goal two minutes into his home Premier League debut against Sheffield United. He went on to score 23 goals in his opening season, which he matched again in 2007/08, a campaign which saw him voted Fans' Player of the Year.
All in all, Berbatov is going to be a sensation and Liverpool had better watch out for our new devil.
Berbatov against Reading, scoring 4 goals.

after the emo-ing
Still getting accustomed to the post competition training life. My day in school no longer ends at 5.30, it ends at what ever time school ends for students. 2 being the latest. Taking my school bus home now seems a formality. Afternoon naps still feel good though. Lunch prepared my mum, evening jogs, staring into space on windy evenings all seem so familiar now.
Its as if I've returned from some place, some country maybe. Okay maybe I'm over exaggerating but heck it is that different. Ivan and co still seem bothered by it. With sean being the most affected.
IVAN
slacking in class, sleeping in class( must be mesaging ALEX too much)
ALEX
as semangat as ever with the prefect shit, seems fine.
JETHRO
as comical as ever. He came out of class saying he's going to the toilet only to enter our class to chit chat. Then really went to the toilet after that and went straight to recess without going back to his class. PRO. nothing else to be said.
SEAN
hmm, now this is a hard one. He's fine in the bus. He's fine on the way to class. He's fine in class. He's fine on the way home. Yet he says he's sad inside. SOMEONE help him!! (you know who you are SOMEONE)
ME!!
Im great!! Fell so relaxed. I think about stuff a little differently now. For the better i guess. Change is the only thing that is constant in this ever changing world as it is said. So I'm embracing the change that is before me.
oh yea, lost out to the fourth placed guy in bowling by ONE POINT!! today. Well its not that I bowled anywhere near good though. HAHA

hello goodbye
"I don't why you say goodbye I say hello?"
classic
In times where sadness and disappointment are all around. Take heart people.
God has a greater and grander plan for all of us. So cheer up.
Everyone doesn't want something they like to end but its just the nature of life for things to end. Its up to us to find the strength in the face of adversity and stay strong.
As the line above says when you say goodbye I say hello. Stay positive and open up new challenges new possibilities new things. Have fun guys.
Its not over.
It never is.
This post is dedicated to all that have felt the pain of defeat and in the hope that we will all come through this stronger than ever!
-cheers to that-

yet another birthday
Okay so this is what happened exactly. Chin Fang went to get Kim. The rest of us waited eagerly at seasons (one more eagerly than the rest). So Kim came. All there was too be heard was,
OH MY GOD!!! OH OH GOSH!!! YOU ALL AH!!! WAH!!! (you get the picture)
Sean was sitting next to Kim if anyone of you is wondering. Then one after another we gave our presents to her. Sean's stood out the most of you ask me. Stars glued to the present. This calls for a long awww. He even wrote a poem for her. AWWW.
Sean would go on to receive more "teases" and the rest of them not forgetting me "teased" me too if you get what I mean. So we walked, walked, and then at four Kim's mum gave us a lift back to Perling. It was raining. HEAVILY.
Kim and the rest went on home with me and Sean waiting at Perling Mall for the rain to subside a little. Sean phoned his mum to pick him while I on the other hand ran home in the rain. Feels so much fun running in the rain. Everytime it's just different. WTH.
Anyway today was a great day. And yea Wenli if you do read this post, I would like the group photo the waitress took for us. Thanks in advance.
something else I've realised today. THE BEATLES ROCK!!!

new year beckons
Among the more memorable happenings would be me quiting being a prefect, sitting for my PMR examinations, losing in futsal competitions(twice or thrice), not making the bowling squad, celebrating my birthday, sitting for my theory exam, getting my theory results and also my PMR results.
Not really the kind of happenings that make the hairs of one's back tingle but well at least I can say,
I QUIT BEING A PREFECT!
And so moving on, as a new year looms ever closer, one has to have resolutions right. So here are some of mine.
1 To play football more skillfully
2 To understand the subjects that are hard to understand
3 To not fail in any exam and to study harder
4 To save more money
5 To help MANCHESTER UNITED WIN THE PREMIERSHIP (by watching every match)
Okay I can understand if you guys find this lame cause it is. HAHA
So before I start to crap further I better stop now while I'm still sober. Enjoy your parties people if you are at one, drink up your alcohol and quickly refill, eat more eat more, open your eyes if you're viewing a fireworks display, and finally don't forget to wish your loved ones.
As we are so focused on the future, we miss out on the present. Take things one step at a time and enjoy 2007 or whateverthat's left of it as were never coming back.
Remember the good times of the year and forget the bad and painful.
Were moving on to a new year.
Were changing with every passing second, minute, and hour.
Hopefully it's for the better.
TO 2008!! WITH HOPE AND JOY!!
-to forgetting the bad and cherishing the good-

RESULTS ARE OUT!!
Not that I'm complaining.
Nope definitely not.
So, the day started off with me being emo while going through my breakfast. Finally changed into my school attire minus the badge and the tie though. Walked out to wait for the bus to school. Plugged in my earphones and selected shelter by Corrinne May, which is a rather slow song which suited the way I was feeling at the time.
SLOW
CALM (NOT!)
EMO
Okay so maybe I wasn't feeling that emo and worried but neither was I clam. Finally reached the school. Met Amirul at the front gate. He was with his dad. (didn't know I was looking straight at a state top student gosh)
And so met up with friends some not seen for some time some seen everyday. Eagerly awaited the results to come through the front gate and into the hall where all the tables and chairs were awaiting the teachers to make use of them.
10.15am
Still no sight of any papers. The sound of heartbeats ever clearer, the sight of sweat on the ground, the smell of the already polluted air didn't make things better.
10.30am
The wait continues. The sound of parents and students chatting grew louder as if to say they weren't worried anymore. Ivan was probably the most emo of all with Jethro being the least or not emo not worried not bothered whatsoever in typical Jethro fashion. Ivan's shirt was already sticking to his back with the sweat looking like glue.
10.45am
CRAP. The results still were not in sight. News came in that convent got their results. Joey got straight A's, Xinyi got straight A's(that's all I know of) , and convent got 94 in total. Friends and relatives started to call but I merely clicked on the busy button and ignored. My heart was practically going to jump out. This was certainly no time to be answering calls.
11.ooam
First sight of the result envelope. Bestari's class teacher though. Cendekia's students waited on again. In no time, all class teachers were found in the hall. All students queuing at their respective lines. Then an announcement was made. "Could teachers of classes A,B,C and D come up onto the stage?". I thought to myself (damn they're going to call one by one onto the stage to collect our results) And it turned out to be true.
11.15am
Pengetua was the one handing out our result slip and also hugs. Yes you're not having eyesight problems. HUGS. Pira was already like "Must hug ah??" I didn't care as long as my name was called. They started off with the 8A's, starting with the B class, then the C class then the A class.
11.20am
Finally they were calling the 7A's. Sean and co were already up on stage celebrating their success with Nash being the liveliest pumping his fists and showing peace signs to all. Me on the other hand looked from below still uncertain of what was to come. Then finally, B. Jayaseelan, Ivan Looi Jia Jun, and then Jonathan Si E Chen, gosh I was GLAD, RELIEVED, THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, SHOCKED, PLEASED, and GLAD all over again.
EC had 61 straight A's in total. Rather low compared to SSI's 96, Convent's 94, Sigs's 66 and not forgetting STF's (forgot but should be hundred plus WTH LA)
And so it was joy all round,
Cheers and jubilation,
Tears and comforting ( Ivan we are humans after all ),
Parents congratulating,
Students thanking teachers,
Students thinking of what to ask from parents,
Students leaving in a hurry,
Students not wanting to leave,
And so on. Here's to all the straight A students,
CONGRATS!!!
YATTA!!!
WE DID IT!!!
ITS OVER!!!
FORM FOUR HERE WE COME!!!
-to the glory, sadness and euphoria experienced-
