Mid year exams( 14th May ). Mid year holidays( 30th May ). Ah, how I wish the latter would just come sooner. Although that would mean SPM arriving even sooner. All roads just seem to be leading to SPM.
The days that pass don't seem to be helping any more less. And there comes a time when one (not me) just lays back imagining the stuff he has done for the past few days.
Day one
Parents saying "you better not let your outings affect your studies yeah"
Day two
Teacher coming in to give a talk about " SPM being the crossroad of your life"
Day three
That guilt-wrench feeling you have when you don't spend enough time studying as
much as you would have liked.
Day four
You come to school seeing half the class or even more not present. you feel shit
for coming.
Day five
You run off to PJ, after telling yourself you didn't want to play but use that
time to do some extra studying.
Day six
You don't finish your homeworks, saying you were studying. And then you see the
number one student passing up everything and still finish way ahead of you in the
rankings.
Day seven
You get home late from school. You fall asleep. Waking up at 8pm, you feel horrible. You try studying but you get sleepier. You "tersleep" as you would say and feel like shit the following morning.
Day eight
You get to BIO class not knowing what the teacher is talking about as you've been studying other subjects during BIO lessons.
Day nine
You get to tuition class. You meet your friends from other schools. You end up talking and having fun. Forgetting the purpose of tuition.
Day ten
You turn on that damn tempting box (CPU). And there goes a few hours.
Well, with all this being said, I guess it's time to buck up for mid year.
Who's panicking?
Are you?
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL FIFTH FORMERS TAKING THE SETARA PAPERS.
MAY WE ALL LIVE TO ENJOY THE MID-TERM BREAK.
